Solution For Laggy PCs

I have a friend who always complain about his laggy PC. One day I went to his house and he asked me to have a look at it and I was surprised when I found out the PC is still new, with among of the fastest Intel processor in the market and big size RAM installed.

But a closer look at the operating system, I found that the PC which primarily used as a gaming rig has been installed with a lot of applications – mostly games and freewares. There were also a lot of startup applications which caused the PC booting time longer than normal.

I also found the antivirus scanner was outdated which may become a potential risk to the machine. I updated the antivirus pattern and ran a thorough scan on all the drives in his PC. As a result, over 10 trojans were found and successfully removed. I also did some housekeeping on his list of applications and removed some unnecessary ones.

Some of the applications has actually been removed earlier but some related files still reside in the registry. I did some cleaning using one of the Best Registry Cleaners around. This application safely clean Windows registry and keep system in peak performance.

You may also install the PC Optimizer to avoid becoming the victim of slow computer operation. This tool will get rid of unnecessary files from your Windows registry in order to make your operating system runs smoothly.
