Sony DPP F-700 Photo Frame Printer

If you’re a gadget fan, you wouldn’t want to miss the latest product from Sony – a digital frame that doubles as a photo printer. The Sony’s DPP-F700 digital frame comes with a 7″ LCD display with resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. The printer concealed perfectly behind the frame, allowing users to to print quality photo in 45 seconds.

Users may also do some touch up on the photo before printing using the included photo-editing software. Those with high creativity can also add fancy borders, make a customized photo-calendars, create photo collages using multiple images or print out photo ID card. With it’s 1GB built-in memory, this device can store up to 2,000 still photos.

Sony’s digital frame-printer is not the first hybrid printer on the market. An electronics company based in US, SmartParts was the first to introduce a digital frame with printer last year. Epson, a well known Japanese electronics maker, has also recently launched their version of hybrid frame-printer called Colorio Me E-800. The Colorio comes with a wireless keyboard and is tailored for the Japanese.

Sony’s DPP-F700 S-Frame is expected to enter US market in January for $200.
