You wish to have a Twitter on the go but Blackberry is too expensive for you? Or maybe the unlimited data plan from the provider is not worth to you just for the sake of tweeting?. Worry not, because now you have an option to tweet at very affordable cost.

Twitter Only Device

Thanks to Peek for coming up with a brilliant device called TwitterPeek. The device that is capable of posting 140-character thoughts to the World Wide Web looks like a thin version of Blackberry incorporates a QWERTY keyboard, colour screen and click scroll wheel.

With a price tag of only $99, users will get a free unlimited service for the first six months and may continue the service with a $7.95 per month. Alternatively, users can choose a $199 model which comes with an life time unlimited service (of course as long as the device still in working condition!).

Although it is undeniably a very good offer, I still don’t see the reason why someone would bother to pay this much for a device that is solely dedicated to a micro social networking site (you can’t even update your Facebook’s status!).

But again, this is up to you. If you don’t mind carrying 2 different device – a mobile phone and a tweeting tool, then it shouldn’t be an issue. And one more thing, if you are a non-US residents and wishing to use this in your country, then you may need to wait for sometime as this service is currently available ONLY in United States.
