I must admit that Sony is one of the leader in mobile communication industry. Their Sony Ericsson mobiles (after merging with the well known Ericsson) has been known as an innovative with outstanding digital imaging capabilities. With their high resolution camera which incoporated the famous Cybershot branding into their mobiles has become one of the main attractions.

The Xperia is the flagship phone in Sony Ericsson’s family. Their latest model, Xperia X2 is expected to be launched next January. Sources from the officials also indicated that a soft launch in the year end.

It is believed that the latest device is in its finalize phase to ensure that the phone will be bugs free. Xperia X2 is believed to be the last model that will be operated by Windows Mobile as it is moving to the Android OS soon.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Phone is touted to be the first phone to run the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS with a high resolution camera – 8.1 Megapixel and plenty of applications. As the targeted user will be business people, the phone will have numbers of business/office related applications including Microsoft Office Mobile, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, which allows user to sync with their Outlook mailserver as well as Internet Explorer Mobile.
