I always dream to have a camera that can be hooked up to my PC without the hassle of connecting the cable to the USB port. I am aware that the camera with WiFi support is out there but it is intended for prosumer or professional DSLRs which will punch a hole in my pocket.
Samsung has brought the good news to digital compact lovers who has similar dream like mine with their latest cutting edge CL80 digital camera which comes with built-in WiFi.
The camera will be intended to middle to high end gadget market and will be incorporated with 14-megapixel sensor. It also comes with a 3.7-inches AMOLED touchscreen – considered big enough for a small camera.
Other features of CL80 includes high definition (HD) video recording, optical image stabilization and 7x optical zoom. It uses microSD as a storage medium to store all high-resolution shots as well as videos.
Although it has been equipped with WiFi, it still has a USB 2.0 port and HDMI port to allow high quality video transfer to a larger screen such as a HDTV. The Instant Upload feature enables users to share their photos directly to photo sharing sites such as Flicker and Picasa as well as social network sites such as Facebook.
For those who love capture motion clips, it also allows users to upload their videos directly to YouTube whenever you are connected to a wireless network.
