Reminiscing Classic Photography With Pentax

I used to own a Pentax compact film camera many years back. Although it’s not as popular as Nikon and Canon, Pentax has proven a good track record and it is among the most durable camera I ever used.

In this digital era, the competition of digital camera is very high. Pentax has just announcedthree additions to its Optio point-and-shoot (P&S) camera range, two of which offer the coolest designs I ever seen for a compact digital camera.

The Optio I-10 comes with a 12-megapixel sensor (selling price of $300 and will enter the market in February) sports a fashionable yet old-school looking camera. It also has some influence of SLR camera design, blasted with a shrink ray.

It incorporates a 5 times optical zoom lens (28-140mm) and digital image stabilizer (IS). It could record 720p high definition (HD) video quality at 30 frames per second. It also comes with a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The older Optio I-10 will be available in black and white colour.
