Click-to-Call Search by Google

World’s number one search engine, Google has kicked off their location-based mobile features week after week. Today has marked their milestone when The Mountain View, a California company has announced the integration of ‘Click-to-Call’ feature in AdWords that allows users and advertisers to located each other via mobile ads.

With a clickable local phone number to paid serach, ads can be seen on iPhone, Android as well as other smart-phones with full Internet browsing capabilities.

With this feature, users are allowed to initiate a contact with the advertiser instantly, just like flipping through the Yellow Pages. The contact number is displayed as an extra text in the mobile paid-search ads. Once you have chosen a particular business name, the number will appear at the top of bottom of the search query page.

Imagine how convenient you could get when your search for a food delivery service in some remote area by just searching from the search engine and can immediately call to place the order.
