I love to watch my videos on my notebook because I simply lazy to connect the notebook to the TV set. Another reason is because I love to watch it everywhere, including on my bed. But watching on the notebook screen is not as satisfying as watching on wide screen TV. The clarity is also another factor that gives user an ultimate watching experience on TV screen.
The Aston Media Gear AP-360T could be the solution for people like me. This media player allows users to enjoy their videos without having to get the notebook to the living room and hook it up to the TV set.
You just need to plug your external hard drive to the deviceĀ and hook it up to the TV and you’re set to go. It allows you to watch videos in variety of formats including XVID, divX, MPEG 1/2/4 and WMV. Besides, it allows photo format such as JPEG and flash video (FLV) to be displayed on the TV screen.
This media player also allows to record live TV programmes to be enjoyed later. But to enjoy this feature, you need to install a 3.5-inch hard drive inside the gadget and hook it up to your satellite decoder. However, installing the hard drive needs minimal skills, even newbie can do it.
The user interface is quite user friendly as it is so easy to navigate with the supplied remote control. This device comes with most of the ports and connectors that are usually found in DVD/Blue-Ray player such as composite, coaxial, HDMI and RCA connectors – making it easy to connect to TV set or other satellite/cable set-top box.
And if you’re an advanced users, you can transform this gadget to be able to stream video and audio files directly from your computer or Network Attached Storage (NAS) via the network. The optional WiFi dongle is sold separately.

You’ve done A marvelous job with your blog my friend. I’m surely digging it and will be stopping by again real shortly.
Im trying to connect my hdtv and decoder (with smart card access) to the Ap360T. what is the correct cable connections to link all three at the same time to the satellite cable, so that i can get all the channels on the ap360T, HD channels provided by the smart card, and to record at the same time. Sorry, my technical is very limited which not helped by the hapless manual provided with the AP360T.
Depending of what type of connection you’re using, you may refer to the following guide which comes with illustrations that may give you a better understanding in connecting your decoder, TV and the AP360T.
