
Imagine having a charger that could fuel up different devices, which means you no longer need to bring the chargers for your Blackberry, iPhone, PSP and portable GPS navigation when you travel, sounds cool doesn’t it?. You may think this is nothing more than a figment of my imagination, but the device is already exists and will be unveiled during the CTIA Wireless 2010 that starts today to March 25 at Las Vegas Convention Center.
The i4 is a portable charging system that can charge up to four mobile gadgets simultaneously and is compatible with over 4,000 mobile devicesĀ including mobile phones, digital media player and digital cameras. Developed by IDAPT, a Spanish international mobile technology based company, the i4 is the latest charger produced by the company. Its predecessors i2 and i3 could charge up to 2 and 3 devices respectively.
Its tip is interchangeable making it completely customizeable. It comes with 3 charging points and an extra USB charging port, allowing users to charge up their gadgets without the need for more than one electrical socket. The ‘Quick Release’ button allows safe and easy removal of the interchangeable tips. Other features include LED display light which indicates charge status and on/off switch.
The i4 charger is expected to be available in the market in May this year in black or white for $59.99.
