Panasonic Introduces Network Attached Cameras

My work requires me to travel quite heavily. During my absence, I’m still able to monitor my dining hall, bedroom, kitchen and my house compound – thanks to the miracle of modern technology. Using a network attached dome camera for indoor use and weather-proof 0-lux camera for outdoor, I can monitor my home from anywhere in the world via internet.

If you think those gadgets cost me a bomb, think again, I’m just using a cheap, DIY cameras. But currently I’m considering to upgrade the system. The latest network cameras from Panasonic really has catched my eyes.

The i-Pro WV-SP300 H.264 Series which available in mini-dome and box shaped features a high definition quality. Using the new processor from Panasonic called UniPhier LSI, the cameras provide face detection analytics, a better bandwidth management and optimizes energy.

Its ability to operate during day and night making it my preferred choice to replace my existing night-vision camera. It also comes with high sensitive sensor with automatic calibration for detailed imaging and progressive scan to give clear images and eliminate motion blur and tear.

The new line of cameras also support multiple video streams with the choice of H.264, MPEG-4 and JPEG. It uses PoE or Power Over Ethernet as the power source. Other features include analog video output, two-way audio and support for the IPv4 as well as the IPv6 network protocol.

Don’t worry if you’re not a tech savvy kind of person as the camera installation is pretty simple. With the guide from the manual, any average Joe can complete the installation. The new network cameras from Panasonic will hit the market in June this year for the box type and the following month for the mini-domes.
