HTC has been known for its range of smartphones that attracts not only executives but also youngsters. The latest product from the Taiwan-based company, the HTC Evo might be the ultimate phone ever produced by the company that formerly known as High Tech Computer Corporation.
The HTC Evo is the first 4G phone which runs on Sprint’s WiMax networks as well as the 3G EVDO Rev. It uses Google’s Android 2.1 operating system as its platform with a little tweak on the user interface overlay, giving the ability to pinch and see all of your home screens together easily.
Using 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon as the processor, Evo offers a speedier operation on today’s complex mobile applications. It comes with a 4.3-inch LCD screen with 480 x 800 resolution which gives you a comfort view. It also incorporates an 8-megapixel camera on the back – which is relatively high for a smartphone and a 1.3-megapixel for its front facing one, which allow video conferencing over high-speed networks.
