Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation system has announced their latest sports watch – the Forerunner 110. I still remember how crazy my friends and I many years ago when we were still active in the multi-discipline sports, Triathlon. That time, Timex was one of our preferred watches that suit our needs. Waterproof, tough, light and the ability to record different types of timing are the features that we look for.
The Forerunner 110 is a sleek, intuitive and affordable solution for runners who needs to track their real-time workout data: distance and speed. The latest product from Garmin was announced in preparation for the world class marathons in London, Paris and Boston, where it will be showcased at Garmin booths in each location.
Inspired by runners who has repeatedly requested a Garmin watch that has GPS and easy to use, especially during a race. It allows user to monitor their performance and do necessary training to ensure their winning in future race.
Besides displaying time and distance, it shows pace in one of two ways, averaged out either over the current lap or over the duration of the run. Forerunner 110 also has a heart rate monitor, which require a device that sold separately. Data captured can be uploaded to your computer for in-depth analysis.
