The Scuba Series HD video Mask from Liquid Image is designed to keep your hands free when you’re diving. It looks almost the same as a normal diving face mask, except with a waterproof digital video camera mounted on top of it and positioned just above your eyes, just like a forehead flash light. It operates to a maximum depth of 35 meter (115 feet), which is suitable for those recreational divers.

It incorporates a high-definition 720p at 30 frames per second with 64MB of built-in memory. The video scuba mask also supports up to 32GB of flash memory card, using Micro SD or SDHC. And if you’re thinking of taking videos during your night dive trip, there’s an attachment for lights. This gadget also records audio, so you could listen back how you and your diving buddies breath underwater.

You may transfer your recordings to your computer from the 360gm facemask using the supplied USB cable. Other optional accessories include 1W Head & Side Lights and MP4 Viewer. In term of operational hours, it uses lithium batteries which allows 2000 snaps of still photos or 2 hours of videos. Alternatively, you may also use a normal alkaline batteries which has a significant different, with only 500 shots of still photos or 16 mins of videos.

I think I have just updated my wishlist by including this gadget for my next diving trip.
