How many times you have droppped you phone? Be it when taking it out from your pocket, or while trying to answer a call when you’re halfly awake at your bed?. Me? Countless!. From my 1996 till now, I have changed over 23 cellphones and half of that are due to dropping ‘em.

Well that also one of the reason why I don’t use iPhone. To me iPhone is such a sweet and elegant phone that we should handle it with care and never ever drop it. Imagine having a white shiny phone but with dented body due to our carelessness?.

And because of this, people at iFixyouri has came up with an idea to test the soon to-be-launched iPhone, the iPhone 4. Technically, the new iPhone has been equipped with a chemically strenghtened glass, which is claimed to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic. What’s more, it is ultradurable and can hardly gets scratch compared to its predecessors.

But all these reinforcements from Apple’s engineer still proven not enough to withstand the test by iFixyouri guys. Apple claims has been denied by a 3.5-foot drop test, a distance that people usually drop their phones when standing still. The iPhone survived 2 out of 3 tests, but after the last test, the screen was completely broken.

Well, I guess Apple need to go back to the drawing board before releasing this phone as this may just disappoint iPhone fans around the world.
