Verizon Wireless and Motorola are working together to come up with a tablet PC which runs on Android for TV use, Financial Times reported. The wireless device is said to have a 10-inch display and supports Flash 10, a feature that you can’t find in an iPad.

Both technology based companies has enjoyed a productive partnership in manufacturing and selling Android-powered Droid smartphones, are now teaming up to beat the Apple’s iPad. It took the iPad merely three weeks to reach the sales of over 3 million units worldwide, making the tablet as another options on top of PCs and notebooks.

According to Financial Times, the tablet that the Motorola and Verizon are working on will be a media-oriented device with wireless capabilities with a 10-inch screen for users to watch TV.  Verizon is believe to provide the content through its Fios Digital TV Service while Motorola will supply the set-top boxes.

I’m quite sure that media-oriented tablets will be just another ‘must-have’ gadget in few years to come.
